Allegations: While at Boynton Health Care Center on or about July 23, 2014, an individual fell due to the Facility negligently maintained the floors allowing a substance to accumulate presenting a hazard. Due to the fall, the individual was injured.

RESULT: Case disposed by Settlement on August 15, 2016.

June 4, 2014: FELICIANO, RAQUEL V SF BOYNTON LLC DBA BOYNTON HEALTH CARE CENTER
Allegations: On May 19, 2014, a business invitee plugged in her laptop into a red electrical outlet located at the Facility at or within 100 feet of the nurses station and was electrocuted causing serious injuries.

Allegations: Boynton Health Care Center supplied a resident’s wife with a wheelchair which was defective and dangerous in that it had two sharp poles sticking out toward the person who was pushing the wheelchair. As a result, the long poles struck the wife’s leg causing her injury.

Allegations: An individual at Boynton Health Care Center suffered a severe crush injury when the Facility’s employee lowered a bed onto their left foot.

April 25, 2011: SESKIN, ALFRED M V SF BOYNTON LLC
Allegations: The Resident was admitted to Boynton Health Care Center on October 22, 2009 where he remained until being discharged on November 30, 2009. Due to the Facility’s breach of duties, the Resident suffered injuries including anemia due to a GI bleed and a fall resulting in a fractured right hip and fractured right shoulder.
