Allegations: While at the Preserve at Palm Aire, the resident’s admission was wholly inappropriate in light of the fact she required heightened nursing care and supervision based upon her health condition. During her residency, the staff and employees of Preserve at Palm Aire failed to develop an adequate care plan and properly monitor and supervise the care and treatment provided to the resident in order to prevent her from suffering the development and deterioration of wounds and to prevent her from suffering the development and deterioration of infections and sepsis. As a result, the Resident wrongfully died.
