Allegations: While at Five Star Premier Residences of Pompano Beach, the Resident was appropriately using the Thera-band rubber band machine in the exercise/physical therapy room when part of the machine suddenly came off the wall and struck the Resident directly on his head, causing severe bleeding and injuries. The Resident did not contribute to the equipment becoming dislodged from the wall. Due to the injuries sustained, the Resident wrongfully died.
