Allegations: The Resident was admitted at Regal Park Assisted Living even though said admission and continued residency was wholly inappropriate in light of the fact she required heighted nursing care and supervision based upon her health condition. During her residency at Regal Park Assisted Living, the staff and employees failed to develop an adequate care plan and properly monitor and supervise the care and treatment provided to the Resident in order to prevent her from suffering falls. The Resident suffered a catastrophic fall resulting traumatic injuries. These injuries led to the wrongful death of the Resident on March 5, 2016.
RESULT: Case dismissed by way of voluntary dismissal on June 13, 2017.
