Allegations: The Resident was being bathed by an employee of Heartland Health Care Center – Kendall. During the bath, the employee failed to utilize bed guardrails or take precautionary measures to secure the Resident. As a result, the Resident fell off the bed hitting the floor with tremendous force. The Resident sustained severe bodily injury which required her to receive emergency medical treatment at a local hospital and undergo surgery.
