Allegations: The Resident was accepted at Sterling Aventura even though said admission was wholly inappropriate in light of the fact he required heightened nursing care and supervision based upon his health condition. During the admission, the staff and employees failed to develop an adequate care plan and properly monitor and supervise the care and treatment provided to the Resident in order to prevent him from suffering the development and deterioration of bed sores, suffering the development and deterioration of infections, suffering dehydration, and suffering hypovolemic shock. Due to these injuries, the Resident wrongfully died on August 16, 2014.
